the OsCene opening this weekend

We are excited to have work in the OsCene, a survey of artists working in Orange County and Long Beach opening at the Laguna Beach Art Museum this weekend. Noah will have his sculpture, "Tower," 2009, in the show, and Ali will debut her new large painting, "Territory," from 2010. The main opening is this Saturday night, from 6-10pm, and tickets pre-sale are $20, $25 at the door, free bar at 6pm. This should be a great event and many good friends are also in the show. A detail of Ali's painting is featured on the large poster outside the museum.
Also excited for Jocelyn Foye's derby dolls event this Thursday:

OUTPOST - NOAH THOMAS

Noah Thomas’s new wood sculptures at Cypress College Project Room
titled Outpost, create and delineate the digital 3D through a
handcrafted play of spatial grids and structures. In an age of CNC
manufacturing and AutoCAD design, Thomas emphasizes the traditions of
the handmade, while acknowledging the aesthetics of a world crafted by
technology.

Noah Thomas received his MFA in sculpture from CSULB in 2003 and
recently had a solo exhibition at Gallery 210 in Pasadena. His work
will also be on display this month at the Laguna Art Museum’s OsCene
the Attic Gallery in Los Angeles.
